Healthy Holidays to You and Yours!

Egad, huh? That about sums up 2020, to my way of thinking. A while back, I became aware of folks focusing on a Word of the Year, choosing a motivating theme that would guide their thoughts and decisions throughout the year. Superior, standout words chosen with care such as GRATITUDE, COURAGE or THRIVE.

Me? I’ve decided my retroactive Word of the Year is definitely EGAD. We’ve all been through so much season after season lately, and the stress seems to be ramping up instead of abating. It might be time to finally get that meditation practice front and center and focus on some mental and energetic “Stillness” instead of the chaos that seems to pepper the air with such ease. That’s my goal moving forward, anyway.

Holiday Audiobook

Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord remains one of my absolute favorite romances.  This holiday season, the audio is available for the first time – a phenomenal performance by Gary Furlong.

Join grumpy Lord Frostwood and spunky Isabella as they journey through her blindness – and his missteps – on their way toward true love.

Available in eBook, paperback, large print, & audiobook.

5 Stars – Verified Review

“I have so loved this book! I admit to rereading this book numerous times, and loving it every single time. Izzybelle and Frost are perfect together, a true love of soul mates, with humor by the bucket full thrown in. I can only say one thing buy it, read it, and be with me in asking for this author to get writing. One final thing please give me a Frost, he to me was the perfect man.”

Muses on Writing – Glancing Back and Looking Forward

Twenty-twenty has brought about a wild ride for everyone, and writing and publishing was no different. We saw a relaunch of the Larissa Lyons’ brand of Fun and Sexy Regency Romance and the introduction of Larissa Lynx with Sexy Contemporary Romance. With nearly 300,000 words spanning eleven titles, it’s been busy.Published this year were both old favorites with new covers (Lady Scandal and Miss Isabella Thaws a Frosty Lord) as well as brand new books, including Her Three Studs and the Mistress in the Making sexy Regency romance trilogy. Don’t let anybody fool you – “publishing” is hard work. And the landscape has changed so much the last few years. I’m more than ready to work on some new things next. I miss focusing on writing!

Coming up in 2021, we’re aiming for a couple more books under each name. (Anyone who enters the Winter contest has a chance to offer input about what gets worked on – because, yes, ADD brain and computer limitations make it hard to do everything I want to, so I’m happy for the feedback!)

Family Wise (asses) 😉

My awesome father turned 82! Another egad – as he’s a vibrant, entertaining smartass who exercises the rest of the family into the ground. He also thinks he’s the best Spades Player Ever, but the rest of the family, who won most of the (albeit, few) tournaments this year, would beg to differ. 😉Mr. Lyons’ family – who live some distance away – are in the midst of Covid struggles, and have been for weeks. Prayers and positive thoughts welcome.

This season find your joy wherever you can (Edward’s Chocolate Cream pie, anyone?). Take care of yourself (snuggling with kitties always helps) and stay happy and healthy!

Until next year – peace out.
